Crime Watch
Important tips from our Crime Watch update at the homeowner's meeting 6/16 include:
Lock your cars and homes (recent incidents indicate no glass breakage in at least 29 cases - they just opened the door and took what they wanted)
Light your homes well (Don't give burglars a place to hide. They will bypass a well-lit home)
Drive a different way each day, note unusual or out of place vehicles, and report them to the numbers that follow. (Dorch. County Sherriff's dept for Savannah Round area, and Summerville PD for Essex area)

Pool Now Open
Pool Hours: 8am to 9pm, 6 days a week, closed Tuesdays for maintenance
Prices: $150 Irongate Homeowners, $200 non-Irongate residents* (plus an additional $10 refundable key card deposit**)

Notes: All memberships are for the current season only, and are for the entire household. No single memberships allowed in accordance with our covenants and DHEC regulations. *Non-resident memberships will only be granted for residents of neighboring communities along Trolley rd. New fencing has been installed, and a new key card system to help make the pool more secure will be in place. **The $10 fee is charged per card and is refundable when you return the card to the pool committee at the end of the season.

Lawsuit Info
Fellow Irongate Homeowners,
I have seen and read with much thought the recent postings concerning
your feelings on the current lawsuit. Please rest assured the new
board is staying on top of developments and we are in constant
communication with the attorneys. At this time we are not at a point
where we need to hire our own attorney. If and when it gets to that
point then Nationwide's attorneys have told us they would notify us
immediately to retain an attorney.
A lot of you keep asking "why can I be included in this lawsuit
without my permission?" The board will be sending out this week a
simple letter asking for your input on this matter. Please return it
to us at your earliest convenience. On this particular issue it does
not matter whether you are in good standing with dues and fines. We
simply need your input and wishes on paper.
Cards have gone out and the signs have been changed. This is just a
reminder that the next meeting is May 19 at 7:00PM.

Community Yard Sale
Saturday August 1st from 7am to 2pm
A sign will be posted at the front gate and it will be advertised in the paper. You may post a sign at the corner of your block if you are not on a main thoroughfare.
Individual signs posted at the main gates on Trolley Road will be removed.
Please help us get the word out!
